- Johnny Depp is attached to play Ebenezer Scrooge in *Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol*.

- The movie will be directed by horror filmmaker Ti West (*X*, *Pearl*).

- Andrea Riseborough is also attached to costar in an undisclosed role.

Johnny Depp is mounting a Hollywood comeback.

The *Pirates of the Caribbean *star has been tapped to play Ebenezer Scrooge in *Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol*, an adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic 1843 novella, ** has confirmed. Paramount Pictures is in final negotiations to produce the project.

The film will be directed by Ti West, best known for his recent trilogy of horror movie starring Mia Goth: *X*, *Pearl*, and *Maxxxine*. The screenplay will be written by Nathaniel Halpern, best known for creating Prime Video's sci-fi series *Tales from the Loop* (which featured an episode directed by West).

Andrea Riseborough is also attached to costar in *Ebenezer*, though her role is being kept under wraps. The most prominent female roles in prior adaptations of Dickens' story tend to be Scrooge's ex-fiancée, Belle, and Mrs. Cratchit, the wife of Scrooge's employee Bob Cratchit. It's also possible that Riseborough could portray any (or all) of the film's triumvirate of ghosts.

A logline for the film calls it "A thrilling ghost story set in Dickens' London, following one man's supernatural journey to face his past, present and future and fight for a second chance." Sounds like *A Christmas Carol*, all right!

Emma Watts will produce the film, and Stephen Deuters and Jason Forman will serve as executive producers.

Paramount aims to release the film Nov. 13, 2026. That date positions *Ebenezer* against an untitled Blumhouse horror project, coming a week after Warner Bros.' animated *Cat in the Hat* and a week prior to Lionsgate's star-studded *Hunger Games* prequel *Sunrise on the Reaping*.

*Ebenezer* will mark Depp's first film by a major American studio since his controversial legal battle with ex-wife Amber Heard, which ended in 2022 after a jury found that Heard had defamed the *Chocolat* actor in a 2018 *Washington Post* op-ed that claimed he abused her. After Heard appealed that verdict, the two actors settled the case later that year.

Depp has been involved in a few film projects since the trial, including Maïwenn's 2023 French-language historical drama *Jeanne du Barry* and his upcoming directorial project *Modì, Three Days on the Wing of Madness*, starring Al Pacino. The latter project will release in theaters Nov. 7.

Depp is also starring in Lionsgate's *Day Drinker*, from director Marc Webb. The film marks Depp's fourth collaboration with Penélope Cruz. No release date has been announced for the project.

It takes a village to make a movie. In the case of *Back to the Future*, it took several vital members of that village to stop their leader from making a dangerous mistake.

In his new memoir on the making of the classic 1985 time travel comedy, *Future Boy* (released on Tuesday) star Michael J. Fox pours out his respect and adulation for the film's stunt team, with particular regard to then-rising stuntman Charlie Croughwell, who doubled for Fox on the film.

"Without Charlie, there would be no *Back to the Future* as we know it," the actor wrote.

But there was one stunt so important to director Robert Zemeckis that not even Croughwell could save him.

Back to the Future (1985) (l-r) Christopher Lloyd as Emmett Brown (Doc Brown) and Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly

Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox in 'Back to the Future'.

"I later discovered that Charlie's first stunt was a point of contention between Bob Zemeckis and the 1st AD," Fox wrote.

That assistant director, David McGiffert, recalled in conversation with Fox, "'I don't usually do this, but I had to put my foot down with Bob. He wanted you to be on the skateboard in front of the car, which would be pushing you. He had a certain angle in mind that only worked if you were the one doing the bit, so he said, 'Yeah, I want Michael to do it.' I shook my head. 'Bob, he can't do that.'"

So swords were drawn.

It's not unusual for directors and their assistants to have disagreements over issues like stunt safety, blocking, and camera placement. But a lot was riding on the success of *Back to the Future *for Fox, who was caught in the middle of the tense confrontation.

BACK TO THE FUTURE, from left: Granville 'Danny' Young, Michael J. Fox, 1985.

The year 1985 marked his first pair of leading roles in feature films: *Future* and *Teen Wolf*, which Fox had already compartmentalized as "not my magnum opus" by the time he joined the former film. The breakout star of *Family Ties*, Fox was eager to show he had potential beyond the sitcom setup. With a team of talent behind it like Zemeckis, who directed *Romancing the Stone *to massive success the previous year, and Steven Spielberg, who was, well, Steven Spielberg, *Future *had to go perfectly.**

McGiffert recalled that he continued to press the issue with Zemeckis. "'You can't have your lead actor in that position. I know it's an off chance, but if he falls under the car, it's over in a heartbeat.'"

But Fox remembered that Zemeckis put his foot down, further escalating the conflict. "Bob really wanted his shot. He insisted again that I do the stunt, and that's when David, in a rare moment of defiance, said, 'Okay, if you do that, I'm going to have to put a note on the slate that says 'First AD protests.' And that's when Bob relented."

** has reached out to a representative for Zemeckis for comment.**

With the stalemate broken, Fox and Croughwell went back to their respective duties.

"I did much of my own skateboard work in the movie, including hooking onto a few moving cars as they drove through Courthouse Square," Fox recalled. "But Charlie handled the crazy stunts. It was Charlie, not me, who sailed through the air the entire length of Biff's [Thomas F. Wilson] open convertible and reunited with the skateboard as it glided out the other end."

Luckily for Fox, what seemed like an existential deadlock turned out to be just another day on the moviemaking grind. Shooting wrapped on *Back to the Future *(which Fox shot simultaneously with *Family Ties*, leading to grueling, sometimes 20-hour days), and the film was released to supersonic success. The film spent three months at the top of the domestic box office, winding up as the highest grossing film of 1985, earning an Academy Award for Best Sound Effects Editing, and transforming Fox's career for good.

The doors Kandy Muse opened for backpack skirts — like the one she wore during her infamous *Untucked* clash with Tamisha Iman — can still be felt on the *RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7* runway, and the "Producer" herself has something to say about it.

But before diving into our latest recap of *AS7* on *EW's BINGE* podcast (below), the season 13 runner-up exclusively tells EW how she patched things up with Tamisha at RuPaul's DragCon L.A. last month, following a turbulent period in the costars' relationship throughout most of 2021.

"I wasn't sure how it was going to go between me and Tamisha, because I knew we had to do the queen walk, and we hadn't spoken since the whole blocked-on-Instagram situation," Kandy recalls of lining up to walk the pink carpet atop the main floor at the drag convention. "We were back stage, I looked at her, she looked at me, we just went up to each other, hugged each other and were like, 'Hey girl, how have you been?'"

Tamisha Iman and Kandy Muse

Kandy says fellow cast member Denali then suggested that she stand with Tamisha as the cast hit the carpet, when she remembers Tamisha asking her if they wanted to "walk together" in front of fans for the first time since they publicly butted heads across social media following their iconic argument on *Untucked*.

"I was like, 'Yeah, you know what, you go out there first, pause on the carpet, then I'll go out there and we'll hold hands.' It really was a moment," Kandy says. "For the rest of that weekend, I kept popping back up and she kept popping back up at my booth and [we were] having a good time. We're in the works of working out something together for the future.... absolutely, why not, I think people love the dynamic of me and Tamisha for whatever reason, so, let's make it work. Life is too short. It's not personal, it's just drag!"

Turning her attention to *All Stars 7*, Kandy also says she got a kick out of judge Michelle Visage praising last week's challenge winner Jaida Essence Hall for using bags on her skirt over a year after the season 13 finalist memorably hot-glued a bunch of backpacks to her waist for her ball challenge back in 2021.

"I thought Jaida looked incredible, and when Michelle [asked] who would've thought to put backpacks on a skirt on a ball episode, which is exactly what I did on my ball episode, I was like, hmm, interesting," Kandy says with a laugh, going on to reveal that she had initially begun to construct an entirely different outfit made of plaid acrylic bags, but decided against it at the last minute as she pivoted to the colorful backpack ensemble she created.

She says the look is still in her closet, though the fragile piece is "hanging on by a thread, or by glue," and might only make a comeback if her planned collaboration with Tamisha ever comes to fruition.

Untucked Kandy VH1

Kandy ultimately feels that the *All Stars 7* ball ranks as "cohesively, one of the best balls" in franchise her-story — even with the threat of season 7 winner Violet Chachki booting fan-favorite looks, like she recently did to Raja.

"I think that it's hilarious, I think that people take the opinions of other people way too literal and serious," Kandy says of the drama surrounding Raja getting "booted" on the *Fashion Photo RuView* recap show Violet hosts with season 13's Gottmik. "To me, a boot from Violet Chachki is just a boot from Violet Chachki. It doesn't change or make anything. Fashion, to me, is art, and art is subjective. Some people thought that my alien look was campy, some people hated the alien look, the beauty is behind the beholder's eye — or whatever the saying is."

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Deni Avdija had 26 points and six assists, and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Golden State Warriors 139-119 on Friday night in Tiago Splitter's first game as interim head coach.

Splitter is stepping in after coach Chauncey Billups was arrested by the FBI early Thursday and arraigned in federal court later that day.

Splitter told reporters before the game he wanted to keep his team focused on basketball.

Jerami Grant scored 22 points, Toumani Camara had 19, and Shaedon Sharpe added 17. Donovan Clingan had 14 points, Kris Murray scored 13, Jrue Holiday added 12 points and 11 assists, and Matisse Thybulle had 10 points.

Stephen Curry scored 35 points for the Warriors, Jonathan Kuminga had 16 points, Jimmy Butler 14 and Draymond Green 12.

Both teams shot well from the 3-point line with Portland making 47% (16 for 34) and Golden State 42% (16 for 38). However, the Trail Blazers outscored the Warriors 66-30 in the paint.

The Warriors started the game on a 12-4 run but Portland rallied to it at 17. A personal 8-0 run by Curry put the Warriors up 25-17. Portland rallied to tie the score at 28 by the end of the first quarter.

Portland continued their strong play in the second. Avdija scored 20 points in the first half while Grant pitched in 17. Portland outscored Golden State 41-28 in the second quarter to take a 13-point lead into halftime.

With 7:50 left in the third quarter, Curry converted a four-point play to cut Portland's lead to 81-72 but the Warriors held on and led by as many as 25.

Golden State pulled Curry from the game with 9:35 left and trailing 115-97.

Daya Betty's roast of Ross Mathews might've landed with lukewarm reception from the *RuPaul's Drag Race* judges, but that doesn't mean she didn't at least *try* to turn up the heat with her originally planned set of jokes.

Appearing on the latest episode of EW's BINGE podcast, Daya reveals that she cut a few jokes from her routine during the comedy challenge, but promises that some of them remain too controversial to tell.

"I had a whole list of 'Ross Mathews is so gay' jokes. One I had that didn't make the cut was: Ross Mathews is so gay, his favorite moisturizer was Astroglide," Daya recalls, adding with a laugh that others didn't make it past the initial screening process for far more hilarious reasons. "The people in the room that were ok'ing [the jokes] were like, 'Nope, you can't stay that!' I'm not even going to say it here because it's probably way too inappropriate. There was plenty [of] crazier, more inappropriate jokes. I'll just say it was severely inappropriate and there was a reason it was not aired."

She says the challenge also wrapped with an impromptu set from Michelle Visage, which she says the queens thoroughly enjoyed. But, for most of them — including eliminated queen DeJa Skye, who left alongside Jorgeous after they lost a three-way lip-sync against Daya — the roast actually began in the Werk Room as the queens workshopped their material among the sisterhood.

"We kind of used each other as practice dummies. Especially DeJa. DeJa was the best at it. She'd sit down in her little corner and she'd yell out a joke randomly, and we'd all be like, thumbs up, thumbs down, and, let's be honest, they were pretty much all thumbs down," Daya remembers. "You saw the episode, I had some thumbs down myself. It turned into a collaborative effort. I personally was working on my jokes even after makeup. I was still finessing jokes."

TORONTO — Addison Barger, for reasons understandable, seemed peeved.

As the Toronto Blue Jays' pinch-hitter readied himself for the biggest plate appearance of his life — bases loaded with his club up 5-2 in the sixth inning of World Series Game 1 — he briefly glanced toward the visiting dugout and immediately recoiled in annoyance.

That's because Barger saw Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts trotting onto the field. A pitching change was in order. The game teetered in the balance. A big swing from Barger would, effectively, end the contest. So Roberts did the prudent thing, yanking struggling right-hander Emmet Sheehan in favor of left-hander Anthony Banda.

That elicited, from Barger, a brief rolling of the eyes.

"I was just frustrated because it was taking so long," he told Yahoo Sports after Toronto's emphatic 11-4 victory on Friday. "Also, I thought I was gonna face the righty."

[Get more Toronto news: Blue Jays team feed]

Moment I enjoyed: Barger shaking his head when he realized Roberts was bringing in the lefty. pic.twitter.com/gCmuOiRPtG

— Jake Mintz (@Jake_Mintz) October 25, 2025

Barger, a left-handed bat, did not exactly shine this season against same-sided pitching. His .607 OPS versus southpaws wasn't horrendous, but only one of his 21 long balls on the year came off a lefty. More often than not, Toronto skipper John Schneider benched his second-year slugger against wrong-handed starters, opting for Davis Schneider, the mustachioed righty and Barger's good pal. In fact, entering Friday, Barger had zero starts and just four October plate appearances against lefties.

So with the Dodgers sending dominant lefty Blake Snell to the mound in Game 1, Barger began the evening as a well-paid spectator. From the top rail of the home dugout, he spent the first five-plus innings cheering on his teammates. But at various points throughout the game, he retreated to the batting cage beneath the dugout to take some swings.

He knew his moment would come. A pinch-hit appearance, at some point, felt inevitable.

It arrived in the sixth inning, which began with the score tied at two. Then the first three Jays reached against Snell, sending him to the showers. Toronto was no friendlier to Sheehan, who surrendered three runs while recording just one out. With the Dodgers on the ropes, Schneider the manager tabbed Barger to pinch-hit for Schneider the outfielder. And after the brief, displeasing delay for Los Angeles' pitching change, Barger unleashed the swing of his life.

Banda made it possible, missing his spot by the entire width of the plate. His slider hung in the air, elevated and over the plate, right in Barger's wheelhouse. The Toronto slugger promptly dispatched the pitch high into the air, 10 rows beyond the right-field fence. Rogers Centre erupted into ear-splitting revelry. The Jays suddenly held a commanding 9-2 lead. They'd tack on two more before the frame was over.

"I was just talking to Max [Scherzer], who's been through basically everything," John Schneider recounted during his postgame media conference. "And just hearing him say, you know, never really felt an inning like that in the World Series."

Barger, absent from the starting lineup, was at the center of it all.

"He's built for the moment," Davis Schneider told reporters afterward. "He goes up with the same plan every single time. Couldn't have happened to a better dude."

After debuting with Toronto last year, the 25-year-old third baseman emerged as a productive every-day player in 2025, showcasing mammoth raw juice from a high-effort swing. Barger's bat speed, according to Statcast, ranked in the top 15 leaguewide. He is also freakishly strong, a gym rat, a human shaker bottle and proud of it.

Off-the-field, Barger's teammates appreciate him for his authenticity. He is unabashedly honest, willing to say whatever, whenever to whomever. That dynamic is particularly true with teammate Schneider, who has known Barger since the two spent time together in extended spring training in 2019. There's an old post on Barger's Instagram account of him hitting a grand slam in high school. The top comment, added October 2019, is from Schneider, his close friend and the man he pinch-hit for in Game 1.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Addison Barger (@addisonbarger)

On Thursday night, Barger slept on the pull-out couch in Schneider's hotel room. Players, particularly those in the early stages of their careers, often secure six-month leases during the season. So when a club, like the 2025 Blue Jays have done, makes a deep October run, lodging problems can arise. That results in a carousel of hotel rooms and, in this case, temporary roommates in one-bathroom hotel suites.

In fact, the team put Schneider up in the hotel connected to Rogers Centre, in one of the rooms that overlooks the playing surface.

"My girlfriend is actually here," he said. "So he was like, 'Can I sleep in the bed with you guys?' I was like, 'No, sleep on my couch.' It's a pull-out, but it was squeaking all night."

That's Barger, unafraid to let it rip.

"And that's how he swings a bat, too, right?" Jays hurler Shane Bieber told Yahoo Sports. "That's how he takes his at-bats. It's, like, all-encompassing."

Without naming names, Angeria remembers feeling that things were "left unresolved" between certain cast members when they were eliminated from the competition, and stresses that the reunion "is the moment to come back and say, okay, let's resolve this."

She also says the fact that this is the first live reunion in years adds to the excitement factor: "This isn't a Zoom reunion, girl. No shade to the other seasons. They did what they had to do," she continues. "But we're back, live, sitting with each other and Ru, so it's going to be a lot of fun."

Angeria also teases something else might soon turn red-hot in the future: Her friendship with fellow season 14 finalist Lady Camden. After the adorable duo admitted there might be a mutual crush brewing in the Werk Room when they first laid eyes on each other during the premiere, Camden later promised to take her new friend to San Francisco's BDSM-centric Folsom Street Fair after Angeria's hilariously innocent reaction to finding out that it wasn't just, uh, a street carnival.

"I cannot confirm that this is a Brooke and Vanjie moment. Now, if we are *working* on a Brooke and Vanjie moment, that might be more of something. But, while the show is still going on, I know that myself and Lady for sure are trying to focus on everything when both of us have very busy schedules. Even if that was a thing, I don't think either one of us are able to handle anything that could blossom seriously," she says. "I think I can proudly say that both of us would be open to future possibilities when [we] have a little more of a handle on things. Right now, things are entirely too busy to be thinking about any kind of thing, so until then, she's going to take me to Folsom."

Earlier in the episode, Angeria's fellow RuGirl and friend (as well as former pageant competitor) Silky Nutmeg Ganache joined EW's *Quick Drag* Twitter Spaces to spill her thoughts on the upcoming season 14 finale, recounting how she felt heading into the season 11 finale back in 2019.

"I know each girl is heading into the finale with a different goal. For me, when I went into season 11, to the finale, I knew that I was not going to win season 11. I felt in my heart of hearts.... I didn't think I had a chance at all. My goal going into it was to look as beautiful as possible, and to lose with my grace and my dignity," Silky says, adding that she felt the fandom and perception from the show painted her in an unflattering light. "This season, with them having a top five, I can't even imagine what these girls are going in with. Is it going to be another lip-sync smackdown where they're lip-syncing against each other and it's dwindling? With a bigger cast, it's more stressful for them. If they have self-doubt on top of this stress, I think it's going to show. I hope that no girl feels that way or feel what I felt going into the finale."

Silky previously opened up to EW about the mistreatment she received in the industry (including losing paid gigs) after her time on season 11, which featured sustained depictions of her arguments with other queens — particularly Yvie Oddly, which she says didn't reflect the true reality of the situation.

"I will feel validated when I start to get the roles on television shows or I get my own reality show just like those judges said that I needed," she told EW after her show-stopping domination of the *All Stars 6* lip-sync smackdown, which saw her slay five consecutive lip-sync performances in one episode. "I'm grateful that the fans are doing what they're doing now, but I went back on *All Stars* to excel in my career. Now is the time where I'm hoping that all the people that said, 'We need to see you more,' actually put in the action and aren't afraid to back me up because of the feedback they think they'd get."

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) -Top economic officials from the U.S. and China kickstarted talks in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday to avert an escalation of their trade war and ensure that a meeting happens next week between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The talks on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit will chart a path forward after Trump threatened new 100% tariffs on Chinese goods and other trade curbs starting on November 1, in retaliation for China's vastly expanded export controls on rare earth magnets and minerals.

The recent actions, which also include an expanded U.S. export blacklist that covers thousands more Chinese firms, have disrupted a delicate trade truce crafted by U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng over four previous meetings since May.

China's top trade negotiator Li Chenggang is also participating in the talks. A Reuters witness saw Li arriving alongside He at Kuala Lumpur's Merdeka 118 tower, the second-tallest building in the world, where the venue for the talks is located.

The Malaysian government and the U.S. and Chinese sides have provided few details about the meeting or any plans to brief the media about outcomes.

The three officials will try to pave the way for Trump and Xi to meet next Thursday at an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in South Korea, a high-stakes conversation that could revolve around some interim relief on tariffs, technology controls and Chinese purchases of U.S. soybeans.

Minutes before the talks started, Trump said that he would like to discuss farmers when he sits down with Xi during his Asian trip and will bring up Taiwan, though he does not have plans to go there yet.

He also said he will likely raise the issue of releasing jailed Hong Kong media tycoon Jimmy Lai, whose case has become the most high-profile example of China's crackdown on rights and freedoms in the Asian financial hub.

"We have a lot to talk about with President Xi, and he has a lot to talk about with us. I think we'll have a good meeting," Trump said as he departed the White House.

Josh Lipsky, international economics chair at the Atlantic Council in Washington, said Bessent, Greer and He must first find a way to mitigate their dispute over U.S. technology export curbs and China's rare earths controls, which Washington wants to reverse.

"I'm not sure the Chinese can agree to that. It's the primary leverage that they have," Lipsky said.

Some of those announcements may fall to Trump, who is due to arrive in the Malaysian capital on Sunday.

"We won't know if Beijing has successfully counterbalanced the U.S.'s export controls with restrictions of their own or if they've induced a continuation of an escalatory spiral until Trump and Xi meet," said Scott Kennedy, a China economics expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington.

"If they make a deal, their gambit will have paid off. If there's no deal, then everyone will need to prepare for things to get much nastier."

The world's two largest economies are seeking to avoid a return of their tariff escalation to triple-digit levels on both sides that exploded in April when Trump imposed broad global levies. China also responded to Trump's tariffs by cutting off rare earths supplies to U.S. buyers.

Bessent and Greer's first meeting with He in Geneva in May led to a 90-day truce, which brought down tariffs sharply to about 55% on the U.S. side and 30% on the Chinese side and restarted the flow of magnets. It was extended in subsequent talks in London and Stockholm and was due to expire on November 10.

But the delicate truce frayed at the end of September, when the U.S. Commerce Department vastly expanded a U.S. export blacklist to automatically include firms more than 50% owned by companies already on the list, banning U.S. exports to thousands more Chinese firms.

China struck back with the new global rare earth export controls on October 10, aiming to prevent their use in military systems by requiring export licenses for products using Chinese rare earths or rare earth refining, extraction or processing technology developed by Chinese firms.

Bessent and Greer blasted China's move as a "global supply chain power grab" and vowed the U.S. and its allies would not accept the restrictions. Reuters reported that the Trump administration is considering a plan to up the ante with curbs on a dizzying array of software-powered exports to China, from laptops to jet engines, according to sources familiar with the deliberations.

The Trump administration added to the tension on Friday by announcing a new tariff probe into China's "apparent failure" to meet the terms of the 2020 U.S.-China "Phase One" trade agreement that halted their trade war during Trump's first term.

The move could create an additional legal authority for Trump to further increase tariffs on Chinese imports. China committed to major increases in purchases of U.S. farm products, manufactured goods, energy and services in the 2020 deal, but the targets were never met.

That also could lead the U.S. side to press Beijing to resume buying American soybeans after China bought none in September, heaping economic pain on farmers, a key Trump political constituency.

The NFL has handed out fines to the New York Giants, as well as head coach Brian Daboll and running back Cam Skattebo, for their actions involving concussion protocol during their Week 6 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, the NFL and NFL Players Association announced Friday.

The Giants organization was fined $200,00 for violating the concussion protocol involving rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, while the league also docked Daboll $100,000 and Skattebo $15,000 for "conduct detrimental to the league."

"After a thorough review, the parties concluded that the team medical staff and unaffiliated medical providers properly followed all of the steps required by the collectively bargained and administered concussion protocol in their evaluation of Mr. Dart," the NFL and NFLPA said in a joint statement.

"When the protocol is triggered, all gameday concussion evaluations must take place either in the sideline blue medical tent or in the locker room, to ensure that the player receives a thorough examination without distraction. The concussion protocol states that "only medical personnel deemed essential to the care of the athlete may be present for the tent and/or locker room evaluation. This includes the team physician best qualified to evaluate concussion, the club athletic trainer, and the sideline Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultant." No other individuals are permitted in the tent or locker room during an evaluation.

"The NFL and NFLPA concluded that the Giants violated the protocol when Head Coach Brian Daboll and running back Cam Skattebo entered the medical tent and spoke with Mr. Dart before his evaluation was complete, creating the perception that they were interfering with Dart's exam. While the parties agreed that Coach Daboll's and Mr. Skattebo's actions had no actual impact on the exam or the care that Mr. Dart received, their conduct was inconsistent with and demonstrated a disregard for the concussion protocol's requirements and therefore constituted a violation. The parties also noted that the Giants undertook immediate remedial steps to prevent any similar violation in the future, including by cooperating fully with the joint review, conducting additional training with club staff and players about proper use of the medical tent and taking additional steps to ensure that only permitted individuals are able to enter the medical tent during a concussion evaluation."

Dart took a hard hit from Eagles linebacker Patrick Johnson in the third quarter of their Thursday night game and was slow to get up. He was able to jog off the field and was taken into the blue medical tent to be evaluated for a concussion.

Daboll, eager to know when he could put his quarterback back into the game with New York leading 27-17, went over to the tent to look in as Russell Wilson entered the game. Skattebo also went inside to check on Dart before being asked to leave.

Daboll was later shown on the Prime Video broadcast yelling at team orthopedist Dr. Scott A. Rodeo, who was not involved in Dart's evaluation. Daboll said he later apologized to Rodeo.

Daboll explained after the game that he looked into the tent to check on Dart, "a player that's important to us, important to me." He added, "In no way would I want a player to come back out there that wasn't ready to play. ... I was wondering if it took 10 minutes, if it takes an hour, if it took 2 minutes ... to make a decision on the game. Health and safety is important to us, is important to me."

Dart returned to the game and finished 17 of 25 for 195 yards with passing and rushing touchdowns.

Skattebo told reporters he "was making sure Jaxson wasn't hurting anybody in the injury tent" when he ventured inside to check on his quarterback.

The NFL and NFLPA announced afterward that an investigation would be opened — one that Giants owner John Mara said team would fully cooperate with. Mara added that he spoke with Daboll about going to the medical tent and believed the head coach was not trying to speed up the concussion evaluation process.

She did it on the bed and she did it on the floor, Kylie Sonique Love's takes on *RuPaul's Drag Race* are never a bore — especially when it comes to the *All Stars 6 *champion passing the show's country-fried Dolly Parton torch to her *All Stars 7* successors.

The trans trailblazer (who last year undeniably slayed the *AS6* *Snatch Game* challenge as Parton) joins EW's BINGE podcast (below) to break down her sisters' approach to the latest episode's Night of 1,000 Dolly Partons runway theme, which saw eight former winners grace the Main Stage in various interpretations of the superstar's fashions over the years.

"I think I liked everyone's look for the most part, but I just feel like if I would've taken somebody else's hair and put it on somebody else, or somebody else's titties and put it on someone else, we could've come up with a perfect Dolly!" Kylie says. "Everyone was good, but there was just something about every single look [where] something was missing, to me."

The biggest offense? "First of all, no one's titties were big enough! No one's!" she jokes, before confirming that eventual challenge (and lip-sync) winner The Vivienne had one of the best renditions of the episode, next to *All Stars 4* winner Trinity The Tuck.

While it might've been a challenge for some, Kylie recalls letting the spirit of Parton wash over her on the set of *All Stars 6*, as she says went method and stayed in character for the full day — including before, between, and after takes on the set as the cast filmed *Snatch Game of Love* with celebrity guest Cheyenne Jackson.

"I think everybody has their own interpretation. It's all about your perception of how you see Dolly. You can tell when some people [on *AS7*] just thought of her as a hillbilly.... and some people thought of her as being very glamorous. You had a couple that were giving a cheerful, positive vibe that Dolly gives. For me, when I put on that wig and those nails, I just turn right into her. It was so crazy," Kylie says. "When I was doing Dolly for *Snatch Game*, I became Dolly. I was Dolly the entire time, even when we were not on set, even when I was back in the dressing room. I was her until I pulled that wig off."

She continues: "Oh, baby, I was doing everything as Dolly. I came in the room as Dolly, I think it got on the girls' nerves so much because I was so good at it. I could tell that they were like, okay, bitch, we're done with *Snatch Game*, you can stop being Dolly right now. I never did Dolly, never dressed up as Dolly ever in my life, that was my first time doing it. So I was really excited."

Kylie confirms that she has yet to make contact with the real Dolly, despite collaborating with Parton's goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, on several stage performances over the years.

"But, I have [heard from] a whole bunch of people from Dolly's family, her team, and Dollywood," she says. "They reached out to me like, oh my god, we love what you did, any time you want to come to Dollywood, let us know."

Elsewhere in the episode, Kylie — who says she's working on a memoir about her life in addition to a full-length album — also reveals her thoughts on how she'd adapt to the all-winners format, reveals whether or not Michelle Visage's acting tips from *RuMerican Horror Story* helped her on the set of her first theatrical feature *Dope Queens* (due out later in 2022), and how a psychically inclined acquaintance helped deliver a message from her grandmother that helped her harness her inner voice and get through the difficulties of filming *All Stars 6*. Raja tells EW why she remixed her season 3 Futurama Glamorama look on the AS7 runway and her future on the franchise: "I might change my mind, but today I'd say it's not a possibility."

Raja is officially a season 3-peat contender on *RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7* — which, as the drag superstar exclusively tells EW, could mark her final appearance ever on the Main Stage.

"There were several moments I wanted to repeat, just as a reminder of what happened 11 years ago," Raja tells *EW's BINGE* podcast (listen below) of hitting the latest, knitting-themed *AS7* runway clad in a gilded recreation of her Futurama Glamorama (otherwise known as "She3PO") look that first rocked the fandom back in 2011. "This is an elevated version of it, which is how I think life should be lived: You can take concepts from your past and do better versions of it, or do something a little more elevated.... I did want to make some revisits, just as a reminder. I slayed it once before, and I'm going to slay it again."

Raja adds that she and her drag daughter worked on the revamped version by knitting together gold ropes and threads with several large needles — a method that reminds Raja of passing time on New York City subways by knitting, years before she became the season 3 winner. The popular music group Deee-Lite (particularly its leader, Lady Miss Kier) also provided inspiration for the garment, which collides two of Raja's favorite elements as a Gemini: "The past and the future," she says.

RuPaul's Drag Race

Raja recreates her Futurama Glamorama look from season 3 on 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7'. World of Wonder (2)

The hard work paid off: Raja won her second overall challenge on the latest episode of* All Stars 7*, after triumphing in a Scrooge-inspired role in the holiday-themed *Mean Girls* satire/murder mystery acting challenge titled *Santa's School for Girls*. She later beat The Vivienne in a two-woman lip-sync, earning her second Legendary Legend Star of the season.

When asked if she's had recent conversations with fellow *Drag Race* alums Violet Chachki and Gottmik — who took over for her as the hosts of the recap show* Fashion Photo RuView* and subsequently "booted" some of her looks at the start of the season — Raja said that, while she has nothing but love for both queens, she's enjoying being "booked and blessed" in her career. Noting that as much as she's enjoying her reintroduction to the *Drag Race* fandom, this might the last fans see of her on the Emmy-winning show.

"This is the last time I'm ever going to be on *RuPaul's Drag Race *ever in my life, so, I'm just focused on the positive and, no, I haven't had a conversation with [Violet and Gottmik] at all. I've just been surrounding myself with other things. There's so much! They're busy, they're booked and blessed as well, I've been watching them, I follow both of them on Instagram," Raja explains.

When pressed on whether her comments were a declaration or speculation, she clarifies: "Right now at this point I'm saying it's a declaration. It's such a hard thing to do and I live a life of leisure and I hate being inconvenienced," she jokes. "It's so hard to do *Drag Race*. It's stressful, but I can't see myself doing that ever again right now. I'm saying that today. You never know, I might get a call from Randy [Barbato] and Fenton [Bailey] of World and Wonder like, 'We're going to do another one!' You never know, I might change my mind, but today I'd say it's not a possibility."

The "Call Me Maybe" singer, 39, tied the knot with music producer Cole M.G.N. (whose real name is Cole Marsden Greif-Neill) at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City on Oct. 4. The intimate ceremony took place in the famed building's Bard Room among 100 guests, according to Vogue.

"We knew we wanted a location that meant something to us, and the Chelsea Hotel had become a home away from home every time we were in New York," Jepsen told the outlet of the location choice. "As artists, its iconic history and lore made it that much more appealing. For planning, we had weekly dates to talk out all the details of the wedding. This way it was only ever fun and not too much at once."

For the occasion, she wore a strapless corseted dress with a draped skirt from Australian designer Toni Maticevski, for the ceremony, and and an ethereal tiered reception dress from Danielle Frankel in New York City. She paired both with pearl earrings made by her mom, Alexandra Lanzarott. "We knew we were trying to get pregnant, so I also wanted an alternative dress that was much more flowy that I could sub in for the ceremony or just change into for dancing," Jepsen added.

The celebration featured a surprise performance from Rufus Wainwright, who treated the crowd to a a capella version of Cohen's "Chelsea Hotel #2." "This felt like a once-in-a-lifetime New York moment," Jepsen shared.

Jepsen opened up to PEOPLE about the beginnings of their relationship while collaborating on her 2023 album, The Loveliest Time. She revealed that the two met after her management paired them together, and their working relationship soon turned romantic.

The two-time Grammy nominee described one of the album's songs, "So Right," as their "meet-cute." The track even opens with a skit about whether or not it's a "good idea" for them to hang out together after-hours — something Jepsen said she suggested only after they got "close."

"You have to get to a certain level of comfort with somebody before you can get to those really playful, joyful, experimental places," she explained at the time.

"We'll go traveling somewhere, and we'll bring a little acoustic guitar," she added of their dynamic. "I think you'll see a lot more of our collaboration together for future projects, but ['So Right'] is our first little baby out in the world. We're both so excited."

Since striking a relationship, the pair have shown support for each other over the years, with Jepsen including Cole in a "visualizer" on Instagram for her song "Shy Boy," which included scenes of the pair dancing in the street and holding hands.

In her message, she wrote that she "wished for lots of secret things but also and most importantly just more bdays with you."

In July, Jepsen shared a sneak peek of the couple preparing for their nuptials.

"Oh you know wedding things. Mostly fighting about cake. ;)" she captioned a series of photos on Instagram showing a variety of mini cakes, plus a shot of her ring.

The following month in August, Jepsen celebrated her bachelorette party, and shared photos celebrating with friends in colorful wigs and custom shirts.
