Kirsten Dunst is looking back at her experience working with the late comedy great Robin Williams on the 1995 film, *Jumanji. *

The actress praised her "very respectful, beautiful" costar during a game of "Behind the Scenes" on Thursday's episode of *The Drew Barrymore Show, *revealing that Williams left a deep impression on her and taught her then-13-year-old self the proper way to treat a crew.

"It makes me so sad thinking about him," Dunst confessed about Williams, who died by suicide at 63 in 2014. To which Drew Barrymore replied, "I feel like he never turned off, though, in a beautiful way."

Dunst acknowledged that he was someone she looked up to as a young teen.

"He was just like… He left such an impression on me with his grace and the way he treated everyone," she told Barrymore and her *Roofman* costar Channing Tatum. "And then, on top of it, he gave me my first computer? And he just was so generous with his spirt and everything."

And she learned a lot from him in return. "Again, what a lesson for me to learn at such a young age how to treat a crew," she pointed out. "I mean, just a very respectful, beautiful human."

Ready? No? OK! Kirsten Dunst isn't interested in a 'Bring It On' reboot

Directed by Joe Johnston (*Captain America: the First Avenger*), *Jumanji* followed siblings Judy (Dunst) and Peter (Bradley Pierce) as they discovered a mysterious board game in their attic. Upon playing it, they inadvertently release Alan (Williams), who has been trapped in the game for decades — as well as a whole lot of danger.

While they never officially worked together, Barrymore has spoken on her talk show about her experience meeting Williams when she was hosting *Saturday Night Live* at just 7 years old.

"I got the privilege of meeting him for the first time when I was 7 in 1982," she explained to Williams' daughter Zelda in 2024. "[*E.T.* director] Steven Spielberg brought him to *Saturday Night Live* that I was hosting... Still the youngest host!"**

However, Barrymore admitted that it wasn't until she met Williams on set that the nerves truly kicked in. "I wasn't nervous until your dad came, and then I got nervous," she said. "He's so wonderful and he has put so much beauty into this world. And he means so much to people."

Earlier this week, Zelda released a statement asking her dad's fans to refrain from sending her any more 'gross' AI-generated videos of him moving forward.

"But please, if you've got any decency, just stop doing this to him and to me, to everyone even, full stop," she wrote. "It's dumb, it's a waste of time and energy, and believe me, it's NOT what he'd want."

She also claimed that those who create videos using AI and send them to her are "not making art, you're making disgusting, over-processed hotdogs out of the lives of human beings, out of the history of art and music, and then shoving them down someone else's throat hoping they'll give you a little thumbs up and like it."

She added, "Gross."

*The Drew Barrymore Show* airs weekdays on CBS.
