Truck carrying 1 million bees crashes, closes TN interstate

Bees are reportedly swarming a Tennessee interstate after a truck transporting one million bees overturned and shut part of the highway down.

USA TODAY

People were being asked to avoid the area of Interstate 40 East in downtown Knoxville after the pickup truck pulling a carrier with bees crashed.

The crash took place about 11 a.m. local time along the highway near the Henley Street exit, the Tennessee Department of Transportation reported.

"The ramp from I-40 East to Henley Street is currently closed," TDOT spokesperson Mark Nagi posted on X. "A truck carrying a load of bees crashed, and now the bees have escaped and are swarming the area."

The cause of the crash was not immediately known but a ramp that was previously shut down was reopened to traffic, Nagi reported later in the morning.

Nagi reported the truck was transporting about one million bees and the driver of the truck, a beekeeper, was attempting to corral the insects.

It was not immediately known whether any injuries were reported.

This is a developing story.

Daughter of missing American woman touches down in Bahamas, slams stepdad after he fled amid investigation

The daughter of a woman who remains missing in the Bahamas lashed out against her stepfather after arriving on Great Abaco Island Thursday.

Fox News

Karli Aylesworth previously slammed her stepfather, Brian Hooker, who was the last person to see her mother, Lynette Hooker, alive on April 4. Brian said Lynette fell overboard from their dinghy around 7:30 p.m. as the pair motored toward their sailboat, which was anchored off Elbow Key.

Brian was arrested by the Royal Bahamas Police Force April 8 and spent five days behind bars whilepolice investigated Lynette's disappearance. He was released Monday night without being charged with a crime.

On Tuesday morning, he told several news outlets he wouldremain in the island nationto search for Lynette but jetted off Wednesday for the United States, landing in Atlanta in mid-afternoon, a source familiar with the matter told Fox News Digital.

"Following his release from custody without charge, Mr. Hooker is now facing another emergency. In addition to the trauma of his wife of 25 years being missing, Mr. Hooker has received urgent word of his mother’s grave illness," Butler toldNBC News.

"He has traveled to [the] United States of America to be at her bedside during this critical time."

After her mother's disappearance, Aylesworth told Fox News Digital she was aware of "prior issues" with Brian's behavior.

"There have been prior issues brought to my attention, which may be important for anythorough investigation. If this truly was an accident, I can understand and live with it," Aylesworth said. "However, there needs to be an intensive review of the facts and circumstances of this tragic incident before that can be determined."

Aylesworth said she has been "privy to very little information," adding her "sole concern is to find out what happened to my mother and make sure afull and complete investigationis performed into her disappearance."

She also told"Fox and Friends"that something "doesn't add up" with her mother's disappearance, and accused Brian of having a "history of domestic violence" and anger issues.

Meanwhile, Bahamian police said theirsearch for Lynette was comingto an end as early as Thursday after analyzing "tide, drift and wind" and deciding there was nowhere else to look. A U.S. Coast Guard investigation remains ongoing.

Brian has maintained he had nothing to do with Lynette's disappearance and that it was purely an accident driven by windy conditions and choppy seas.

Inside Tiger Woods’ ‘intense’ physical, psychological treatment at 90-day rehab: report

Tiger Woods is undergoing “intense” psychological treatment at a three-month-long rehab centerfollowing his dramatic DUI bust last month, according to a report.

NY Post Sports composite photo showing tiger woods getting arrested, him posing with vanessa trump and an inset of his flipped SUV.

The golf great is believed to be receiving “physical and psychological attention” at a facility in Zurich, Switzerland, where he is making tremendous stridesin his alleged years-long painkiller abuse, a source close to Woods’ beau, Vanessa Trump, told the Daily Mail.

“He’s got a pain management doctor who is helping him deal with his body pain without addictive opioids,” the insider said, according to the outlet.

Tiger Woods is believed to be undergoing treatment in Switzerland, according to a report. AP

“He calls or Zooms a small number of people: Vanessa, his kids, Mark Steinberg,” the insider continued, referring to Woods’ agent.

“‘He’s responding well to treatment, and Vanessa is very happy with what she’s hearing.”

The source described the treatment as “intense,” though he can voluntarily leave the 90-day program at any time.

Steinberg did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

Woods reportedly tuned into some of the Masters Tournament, which he had reportedly intended to compete in before he flipped his SUV while trying to overtake a truck near his Florida home March 27.

In bodycam footage, the five-time Masters champ told cops he was “hoping” to play in this year’s tournament, but admitted it “depends on ya’ll.”

Without Woods in the competition, his friend and fellow champRory McIlroy secured his second straight green jacket.

Vanessa Trump’s daughter, whom she shares with Donald Trump Jr.,Kai Trump, was seen in attendance at the tournament.

“Tiger paid casual attention to the Masters, but is more focused on recovery,” the source said.

“He’s getting both physical and psychological attention.”

Woods had previously announced in a statement that he would be stepping away from golf to seek treatment in the wake of the incident.

A breathalyzer test didn’t show any signs of alcohol, but he refused a urine test at the time and admitted to taking “a few pills.”

And two hydrocodone pills were found in Woods’ pocket, according to a police report.

Woodspleaded not guiltyto the DUI charges.

Vanessa Trump, who has been dating Woods for a little over a year, has seemingly stood by Woods amid the drama. Several days after the arrest, she posted a picture of the couple together with “love you” and two heart emojis included.

Proposal to isolate 'Trump' name at Ohio wildlife area causes a stir

Ohioans are concerned the name of a wildlife preserve will create an unjust tie to PresidentDonald Trump.

USA TODAY

In March, Ohio's Division of Wildliferecommendedan alternative name for theCharles O. Trump Wildlife Areasouth of Columbus: "Trump wildlife preserve." The name was one of more than a dozen proposed as part of a rule review required at least every five years, as reported byThe Columbus Dispatch, part of the USA TODAY Network.

The proposition has been met with backlash online, as some believe the name insinuates a connection to the president or downplays the importance of the man who donated the land, whom it is named after.

"This change sends an obvious partisan message. In the current political climate, removing 'Charles O.' and elevating only 'Trump' is not a neutral administrative cleanup," a Reddit user posted in theOhio sub-Redditin March. "It reads as a political branding decision, whether (the Ohio Department of Natural Resources) intends that or not. Public wildlife lands should not be used to send coded partisan messages."

Another Reddit user said: "I strongly oppose the proposal ... This is a partisan political act, and not a proper purpose for the use of public lands; this is not China, Russia or North Korea."

The wildlife preserve has no ties to the president

The Charles O. Trump Wildlife Area, which spans 128 acres, is named after Ohio farmer and philanthropist Charles O. Trump, whodonated the land in 1996, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Charles had no ties to the current president.

A sign for the Charles O. Trump Wildlife Area is posted in the 8500 block of West State Route 56 in Ohio. The preserve has been in existence since 1996, when the late farmer Charles O. Trump donated the parcel to the state.

Despite the lack of connection, this is not the first time a naming suggestion has received backlash.

In 2020, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources website briefly listed the area as the "Trump Wildlife Habitat Hunting Preserve." The name and misspelling drew attentionbefore a spokeswoman clarified:"It’s named for the person who donated the land − not president Trump."

State has no plans to nix long-time name

Ohio Department of Natural Resources Press Secretary Karina Cheung told The Columbus Dispatch the division has no plans to remove "Charles O." from the preserve's signage or materials. "Charles O. Trump Wildlife Area" and "Trump Wildlife Preserve," could be used interchangeably.

When asked his involvement in the alternative name, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said he didn't initiate it.

"As far as I’m concerned, we should keep all the original names, and I think that’s what’s going to happen. They’re all going to be kept," DeWine told reporters on April 13. This kind of rule change is not something the governor would typically be involved in.

The next step for the alternative name is for the Ohio Wildlife Council to vote on the proposal on April 29. If approved, the rule would take effect on June 30.

Why are cough drops being recalled?

“Certain observations noted during an August 15, 2025, inspection of the manufacturing facility” may have impacted product quality, per anFDA statement. What exactly was observed isn’t clear, but it likely means the cough drops are not up to FDA standards in one or multiple ways.

What does the Class II designation mean?

The FDA classifiesdrug recalls, whichcough drops fall under, on a tiered system measured by “degree of risk,” with Class I being the highest risk to Class III, which comes with the lowest risk. This Class II recall of cough drops is used for when a “drug may cause temporary health consequences, but the probability of a serious health issue is remote,”per the FDA.“These recalls are generally conducted at the retail level, and patients and consumers can continue using the medicine unless otherwise directed by the recalling company or the FDA."

What should I do if I have these cough drops in my home?

While there hasn’t been additional information shared about the context or potential hazards associated with this recall, it's usually a good idea to stop using recalled products immediately. Again, this specific recall had very few instructions, but according to theFDA, “Often, recalled products can be returned to the store where they were purchased,” adding, “If you cannot return a product, dispose of the product properly.”
