The Midwestern state that wants to make its own cryptocurrency in nation's first plan to take on big tech
Wyoming is moving towards becoming the first state to offer a state-backed cryptocurrency, Governor Mark Gordon has revealed. Speaking at a conference in Jackson Hole on Thursday, Gordon revealed the state is working on its own stable token or stablecoin which it plans to launch next year. According to Cowboy State Daily, he said: 'We want to do it right. We want to find the right methodology to be able to implement it.
