Emergency providers scrambled to the horror in Cheltenham shortly before 10pm on Thursday.
They handled a lady at the scene on Springbank Means earlier than taking her to hospital.

A police spokesperson stated the lady stays in hospital in a critical situation but her accidents are usually not believed to be life-threatening.
One resident informed GloucestershireLive they noticed a "huge explosion and hearth" following an incident labelled "grade one" priority by police.
Footage of the aftermath show the bungalow lowered to a pile of rubble and charred beams.
Bricks cowl the pavement as smoke billows from the property's scorched stays.
Gloucestershire Hearth and Rescue stated they have been alerted to the hearth at 9.48pm on Thursday.
The cause of the blaze stays unknown.
A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson stated last night time: "One female casualty has been handled on scene and brought to hospital, surrounding properties have been evacuated.
"At current crews are finishing up search and rescue plus extinguishing pockets of fireside and can remain on scene for some appreciable time."
