Lorde, 28, called Antonoff, 41, a "positive, supportive collaborator" but didn't work with him this time around as a gut decision. "I'm very vibes-based," she told the publication. "I just have to trust when my intuition says to keep moving." Theo Wenner Lorde and Antonoff have collaborated on several songs, includingMelodrama's "Green Light," "Liability," "Supercut," "Perfect Places" and "The Louvre." The duo also worked on "Solar Power," "Leader of a New Regime" and "Secrets of a Girl (Who's Seen It All)" fromSolar Power. They were both recognized by the Recording Academy forMelodramawhen it was nominated for Album of the Year at the2018 Grammy Awards. The musicians were rumored to be dating in 2018 afterAntonoff and Lena Dunham broke up. Antonoff denied dating anyone at the time while Lorde denied that she was with Antonoff. A source at the time also told PEOPLEthat they were just friends. "There's not any type of romantic situation. They're just friends — they really are just friends," the source said.
