Ford plays a therapist named Dr. Paul Rhodes, who is living with a Parkinson's disease diagnosis while continuing to practice mental health therapy in the third season ofShrinking. Parkinson's is defined as "a brain disorder that causes unintended or uncontrollable movements, such as shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with balance and coordination," according to the National Institute on Aging.
