KANSAS Metropolis Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has opened up on his relationship with pop star Taylor Swift.
The Chiefs and Taylor have develop into considerably synonymous with one another this season because of her relationship with Kansas Metropolis star Travis Kelce.
As such, the spotlight has been perenially fastened on the Chiefs throughout the season – especially each time Taylor has been in attendance in her Kansas City-themed attire.
But as it turns out, Reid and Taylor have been no strangers to at least one another.
Reid revealed on the Let's Go! podcast to hosts Tom Brady and Jim Gray that he had beforehand met Taylor – who had all the time been an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan – while coaching in Philly.
"I knew her before from Philadelphia," Reid stated.
"Her dad (Scott Swift) played at Delaware and was an enormous soccer fan and good man. So I had met him there, and her."
Previous to Delaware, Scott also played middle for the College of Hawaii.
Reid went on to jokingly add, "That was the very last thing Trav needed to listen to, that I knew her earlier than him.
"She informed him, 'I do know your coach.' And he went, 'Oh, God, come on!'"
The 65-year-old two-time Super Bowl winner had nothing but reward for Taylor, saying, "She's an excellent woman. And I'm pleased for Trav."
Reid's happiness for the couple was on full display following Kansas City's 17-10 win towards the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Recreation, when he and Taylor appeared to point to one another in the course of the trophy presentation.
And whereas the Chiefs have been the recent matter throughout the year, Reid insisted that "There was no distraction that approach at all.
"And Trav's handled it right. She's dealt with it right and we just transfer ahead. So it hasn't been a problem at all."
On the topic of shifting forward, Taylor faces a manic couple of weeks forward of Travis' Super Bowl look.
Set to perform her Eras Tour in Tokyo, Japan, from February 7-10, she is going to then need to take an almost thirteen-hour flight straight after her ultimate live performance with a purpose to make it to Nevada by Saturday evening.
The Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will then kick off in Las Vegas at 6:30pm ET on Sunday. February 11.
