Stephen A. joined Shannon Sharpe and Dan Orlovsky on Monday's version of First Take to debate the contest.

And he wasted no time in declaring Jackson's efficiency the "largest headline" of the weekend.

Jackson and the Ravens offense have been bottled up for three-quarters of their conflict at M&T Financial institution Stadium.

The 27-year-old accomplished simply 20 of 37 move attempts for 272 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception.

Talking on First Take, Stephen A. was requested if Jackson "falling brief" was a much bigger story than Patrick Mahomes going to a fourth Super Bowl in 5 years.

"I feel it's Lamar Jackson falling brief," he replied.

He continued, "I hate to say it. Mahomes was great, he's phenomenal, he's the greatest ever. We get all of that.

"With all due respect, it was a choke job. The definition of [choke job] is doing what you all the time do, what you're accustomed to doing. But then the [big] moment arrives, and also you don't.

"That's the definition of what we're speaking about right here.

"You knew the No. 1 rated dude was coming into your home and you knew you had to play on an elite degree with a purpose to knock him off.

"Baltimore's defense confirmed up…the offense couldn't answer the call."

Former NFL star Ryan Clark added later, "Lamar Jackson didn't show up.

"That is the worst performance by Lamar since he's been a pro."

Followers have been fast to touch upon the discussion, with one replying on X, "The most important headline is the best way Lamar performed and the remainder of the offense @FirstTake… I'm with @stephenasmith…."

"Dak Prescott and Lamar Jackson will not be prime tier QBs @stephenasmith @FirstTake," one other wrote.

"@FirstTake Lamar Jackson was tight, but his staff didn't do anything to help him both. The protection allowed him to get a deficit. When he wanted players to step up on offense he didn't get it," a 3rd countered.

Following Sunday's recreation, Jackson vowed to return back stronger within the 2024 season.

He informed reporters, "Oh, I'm not annoyed in any respect. I'm indignant about dropping, we have been a recreation away from the Super Bowl, we've been waiting all this time, all these moments for a chance like this and we fell brief.

"However I really feel like our staff will, we're going to construct, this offseason we're going to get right, get higher, grind, and attempt to be on this place once more, but on the other aspect, a victory."

Last week on First Take, followers have been left speechless after seeing an "unrecognizable" throwback snap of Molly.

Smith also divided followers with a conversational Pokemon take throughout his weekly podcast.

And Stephen A. conceded his "best dressed" title on the show to colleague Clark.
